About us

As part of a traditional family company, Kwizda Kosmetik can fall back on decades of experience in the field of sales in order to successfully represent international brands in the Austrian specialist trade. You could say that true beauty comes not only from within – but also from us.

From health to beauty

Kwizda was founded in 1853 as the pharmacy “Zum Schwarzen Adler” in Korneuburg. In the health sector, veterinary and pharmaceutical production facilities were gradually established, and with a great deal of foresight the family business was continually expanded in the following years and decades.

Until the 1990s, Kwizda drug stores and perfumeries were part of the commercial landscape. In addition, from this period on, the company gradually took over the distribution of the renowned brands ARTDECO Kosmetik and Ingrid Millet Paris. In 2005 Kwizda Kosmetik GmbH was finally founded as an independent company. This was followed by the successful launch of the ANNY brand at Douglas, the acquisition of ATEIA® as a private label and the distribution of the Frei Öl® brand. This future-oriented thinking and working in the sale of cosmetics is still an important part of the corporate philosophy of Kwizda Cosmetics.
